Tigray Development Association (TDA) is a member-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in August 1989 in Washington DC. Our primary objective is to contribute to the improvement of the livelihood of the people of Tigray through human resource development and the enhancement of health services.

Tigray Development Association in North America (TDANA) is  A TDA member chapter organization in North America. Born on August 12, 1989, at Howard University in Washington, D.C., It was established as a not-for-profit, membership-based organization with a very clear vision of making Tigray prosperous; mainly through the development of quality Education, Health, Agriculture, and Technology.

Mission

To work on need-based development projects/program in the areas of education, health, skill training, & resource deployment.

Vision:

To make Tigray a prosperous and enriching place for all residents to live, work, and thrive.

Community engagement | Gender sensitivity | Transparency and accountability | Fight against poverty

Together we can make a significant impact and change the lives of Tigrayans who are struggling to survive. 

TDA currently has over 1.5 million members ranging from students, to civil servants, urban and rural communities, and business communities. And we're always looking for more help.
